Mission:
SRF-JRMC is responsible for providing Fleet Technical Assistance (FTA) to the Forward Deployed Naval Forces (FDNF) and all other ships deployed to or transiting the C7F AOR.

Procedures:
Procedures for acquiring FTA support are defined in the Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual (JFMM), COMFLTFORCOMINST 4790.3 (Series), Volume VI, Chapter 2 (Review paragraph 2.4.6 Area Regional Maintenance Center Area of Responsibility Assignments).
- Initial response to all requests for FTA will be via Distant Support.
