What We Do:
- Security Program Management (Code 1110)
- physical security, anti-terrorism, and loss prevention program
- key and lock control security functions
- safeguard the command's classified material control and security clearances for all personnel
- administer security awareness programs for the command
- U.S. Manpower Division (Code 1120)
- provide advisory services on a broad range of civilian, contractor, and military manpower management functions
- analyze manpower resources support as they relate to performance and effectiveness
- classify all USCS positions
- command manpower casualty reporting
- liaison with the HRO and HRSC for USCS personnel actions
- validating, monitoring revisions, and updating manpower documents including ODCR, EDVR, and AMD
- performance and awards program
- Administrative Services Division (Code 1130)
- administer all naval reports
- organizing, supervising, and maintaining the Master Directives System
- coordinating, routing, and controlling all command correspondence
- postal operations
- official travel program to include the DoD Travel Card Program
- parking management
- Defense Message System management
- Training Division (Code 1140)
- planning, preparing, revision, and disseminating the Annual Activity Training Plan
- central repository for all training records, statistical data, and apprenticeship performance awards
- administration of the Apprentice Training Program
- coordination and administration of technical, leadership, administrative, and information technology training
- Language Training Division (Code 1150)
- administer the Defense Language Institute, English Language Center's training program
- provide English Language training to apprentices and other SRF-JRMC personnel and other commands base-wide on a space available basis
- plan, develop, and conduct special language training courses to meet specific SRF-JRMC needs
- administer the American Language Course Placement Test (ALCPT) to measure individual English proficiency for jobs, training, and class placement
- provide Japanese language support and training to USN and USCS personnel
- MLC Manpower Division (Code 1160)
- provide advisory service on issues of Master Labor Contract (MLC) regulations
- provide review and analysis on MLC position structure and position descriptions
- administer the MLC Incentive Awards program
- coordinate command ceremonial events
- process MLC personnel actions
- process LAA security clearances for MLC personnel
- administer Employees' Council
- administer MLC recruitment actions
- coordinate MLC employees' uniform request/issues
