Waterfront Operations Department (Code 300)


Mission:


To enable 7th Fleet readiness through the planning and execution of emergent and scheduled repairs.

What We Do:


Waterfront Operations Officer (Code 300)

Reports to the commanding officer for the organization, administration and supervision of the Waterfront Operations Department.

 

Waterfront Operations Deputy Officer (Code 300D)

  • Manages the assignment of all departmental U.S. military and government employees within shipboard projects for all selective restricted availabilities (SRAs), dry-docking selective restricted availabilities (DSRAs), continuous maintenance availabilities (CMAVs) and windows of opportunity (WOOs).
  • Coordinates closely with Fleet Activities Yokosuka Port Operations Department on the placement of Commander, U.S. 7th Fleet assets on the Yokosuka waterfront, in order to best facilitate shipboard repairs and testing.
  • Utilizes the daily production list and coordinates with SRF production group masters to prioritize, plan and execute repairs onboard ships during planned and emergent maintenance periods.

 

Project Superintendents (Code 310)

  • Plans and executes all emergent and planned shipboard repairs.

 

Carrier Program Office (Code 312)

  • Plans and executes all depot-level maintenance on USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76).
  • Coordinates with all outside entities in support of carrier repairs.

 

Waterfront Integration (Code 320)

  • Coordinates the movement of Commander, U.S. 7th Fleet assets on the waterfront.

 

Japanese National Engineering Support (Code 330A)

  • Manages assignments of all departmental MLC employees within shipboard projects for all SRAs, DSRAs, CMAVs and WOOs.

 

Work Integration Manager (Code 333)

  • Integrates planning and execution of work between alteration installation teams (AIT), local contractors and SRF shop support to facilitate completion of ship and machinery alterations on U.S. 7th Fleet assets.

 

Dive Locker (Code 338)

  • Conducts dives for the purposes of repairs and visual inspections in support of Commander, U.S. 7th Fleet assets.

 

Docking Officer (Code 345)

  • Conducts visual inspections of dry docks.
  • Oversees docking and undocking of U.S. Navy, Military Sealift Command and Japan Maritime Self Defense Force ships.

 

Ships Fire Safety Division (Code 380)

  • Conducts daily walkthroughs of ships and piers to identify and correct fire safety discrepancies.
  • Coordinates and oversee integrated training between ship’s force, SRF-JRMC, and Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka Fire Department to continuously improve in-port fire-fighting response and casualty control procedures.

業務内容:


オペレーションズ・デパートメント(Code 300)

  • オペレーションデパートメントの組織、管理や監督状況についての司令官への報告

オペレーションズ・デパートメント副デパートメントヘッド(Code 300D)

  • 定期集中工期(SRA)、入渠定期集中工期(DSRA)、継続的メンテナンス工期(CMAV)や臨時工期(WOO)などの艦船上のプロジェクトに関わるすべての部門の米国軍人や軍属の仕事の管理。
  •  横須賀ウォーターフロントにある第七艦隊艦船の効率的な艦船上の修理・テストを行うための、米海軍横須賀基地司令部ポートオペレーションとの緊密な調整。 
  • 予定された修理と緊急修理が混在する中、毎日の修理表を使い、艦船上の修理をSRFプロダクション部門のグループマスターとの調整による、優先順位の決定、計画と実施。

USN/USCS プロジェクト・スーパーインテンデント(Code 310)

  • 艦船の緊急および予定修理の計画・実施。

空母プロジェクト室(Code 312)

  • 「ロナルド・レーガン」(CVN 76)のデポレベル修理の計画と実施。 
  • 空母修理を支援するすべての外部組織との調整。

ウォーターフロント・統合部(Code 320)

  • キーイベント、マイルストーンに沿って個々の修理の開始と終了に焦点をあてながら工期に合わせられるようにプロジェクトスケジューラーを調整。

日本人エンジニアリングサポート(Code 330A)

  • 定期集中工期(SRA)、入渠定期集中工期(DSRA)、継続的メンテナンス工期(CMAV)や臨時工期(WOO)の艦船上のプロジェクトに関わるすべての部門の基本労務契約(MLC)従業員の仕事を管理。

ワークインテグレ―ションマネージャー(Code 333)

  • 第七艦隊艦船において改造工事が完了するように、AIT、業者、SRFのショップ間での計画、実施の調整。

ダイブ・ロッカー(Code 338)

  • 第七艦隊の艦船の修理や目視検査のための潜水作業。

ドッキングオフィサー(Code 345)

  • ドライドックの目視検査の実施。 
  • 米国海軍、軍事輸送部隊(MSC)および海上自衛隊艦船の入出渠管理。

艦船火災安全部(Code 380)

  • 火災予防に関する不具合を是正するため、日々の艦船および埠頭の巡視。 
  • 継続的に消火への対応と避難手順を改善するため、艦船乗組員、SRF-JRMCおよび米海軍横須賀基地司令部消防隊との統合訓練の調整と管理。
